JUSTICE RAJIV ROY ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) 19-02-2024 After hearing the matter for some time, we were not inclined to entertain the appeal.
Learned counsel for the petitioners then, sought permission of the Court to withdraw the writ petition itself so as to approach the State authorities.
2. The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate authority of the State. We make it clear that we have not observed on the merits of the claim and it will be left to the authority approached to decide the matter.
