The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "That the present writ application is being filed for direction to the respondents particularly Respondent No.-3, to issue the Arms license to the petitioner, as he fulfills all the criteria for issuance of the Arms License in his favour.

However, the said respondent is not taking any decision in the matter notwithstanding submission of all the relevant document alongwith the application before him, since long."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction upon the District Magistrate/ District Arms Magistrate, Bhojpur, Ara to dispose off the pending petition, filed by the petitioner for grant of arms licence. 3.

The learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that in case the application filed by the petitioner for grant of arms licence is pending, the same shall definitely be disposed off, within a fixed time frame.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Arms Magistrate/District Magistrate, Bhojpur, Ara, to dispose off the aforesaid application of the petitioner, in case the same is still pending, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
