The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with C-2 Cae no.704/19 registered for offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 . Allegation against the petitioner is about recovery of 54 ltrs. of liquor and the petitioner was arrested from there. Petitioner has come with a case that he has no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 18.11.2019 and the charge sheet has already been submitted in this case and there is no chance of tampering with the evidence. Further he has no criminal antecedent.

Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6337 of 2020(2) dt.04-02-2020 2/2 circumstances, as stated above, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned ADJ II cum Special Judge, Excise Act, Sitamarhi in connection with C-2 Case No.704 of 2019.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is allowed.
