JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 03-02-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Ishakchak P.S. Case No. 101 of 2019 for the offence under Sections 406, 420 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the case relates to dishonour of cheque for which an FIR has been lodged against the petitioner and he is in custody since 17.08.2019.

Considering the fact that law prescribes modality for acting on dishonour of the cheque, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the
