2. The petitioner is in custody since 25.06.2014 in connection with Special Case No. 69 of 2013 arising out of Bakhtiyarpur P.S. Case No. 226 of 2013 for the offences alleged under Sections 20 and 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated merely because he happens to be the owner of the truck from which the offending goods namely, two quintals of Ganja were seized. Even according to the averments in the FIR the co-accused Suresh Choudhary has claimed that the Ganja belonged to him and co-accused Amit Kumar Singh and Rajesh Singh.

4. Having regard to the nature of accusation, seizure of the huge quantity of Ganja as well as the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner at this stage. The bail petition stands dismissed.
5. In case of inordinate delay in the progress of the trial, the petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court by renewing his prayer.
