In this writ application, the petitioner has prayed for a direction to the respondents to pay honorarium for the period the petitioner discharged duty as 'Tola Sewak'.
Without entering into the merit of the claim of the petitioner, the writ application is disposed of with direction to the respondent no. 5, District Programme Officer (Literacy), Bhagalpur to look into the grievance of the petitioner and if it is found that the petitioner is entitled to payment of honorarium, he
Patna High Court CWJC No.15327 of 2017 (2) dt.08-12-2017 2/2 will ensure payment of the same within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of this order. It is made clear that this court has not expressed any opinion on the merit of the claim of the petitioner. The respondent no.5 is required to examine the record and on verification, if it is found that the petitioner has worked he will take steps for payment of honorarium within the aforesaid period.
With the aforesaid, the application stands disposed of.
