The petitioner is in custody in connection with Town, Samastipur P.S. Case No. 230 of 2018 for the offenses under Sections 395 and 397 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. The alleged recovery of silver brick cannot be connected with the commission of the offence in question for the reason that the same brick contains the seal of Sri Sai Nath Probation Centre, Sabzi Bazar, Begusarai. The purity certificate and receipt of such silver brick falsify the allegation levelled against the petitioner.
