JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 24-03-2021 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Anita Kumari Singh, the learned APP for the State. The present petition has been filed for extending the time granted to the petitioner for surrendering before the learned court of Additional Sessions Judge-1st, Rohtas at Sasaram in connection with POCSO Case no. 47 of 2019 arising out of Sasaram (Dariagaon) PS case no. 403 of 2019, vide order dated 23.06.2020, passed in Cr. Misc. no. 8264 of 2020. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner could not be communicated about the aforesaid order dated 23.06.2020, hence he could not surrender before the learned court below within the stipulated time period. It is therefore, prayed to extend the time granted for the

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, considering the averments made in the present petition and taking into account the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I deem it fit and proper to extend the time granted to the petitioner by this Court vide order dated 23.06.2020 for the purposes of surrendering before the learned court of Additional Sessions Judge-1st, Rohtas at Sasaram in connection with POCSO Case no. 47 of 2019, arising out Sasaram (Dariagaon) PS case no. 403 of 2019 by a further period of four weeks from today.

The present petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid modification in the order dated 23.06.2020. (Mohit Kumar Shah, J) rinkee/- U T
