JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 13-04-2018 This Writ Application has preferred for a direction to the respondent authorities to consider the application of the petitioner for his release on parole for a period of 15 days, the reason being that there is a marriage of his son which is scheduled on 19.04.2018.

In the circumstances pleaded in the application, without entering into the merits of the contention or the right of the petitioner to be released on parole, this Court would direct the respondent authorities to take a timely decision on the application preferred by the petitioner so that in case he is found entitled to the

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.1036 of 2018 (2) dt.13-04-2018 2/2 benefit of parole in accordance with law he may avail of the same well within the time.

The respondent authorities shall consider the application and pass an order within the parameters and in accordance with the norms and rules in this regard by the 16th April, 2018.
