The petitioner is in custody in connection with Bhagwan Bazar P.S. Case No. 558 of 2019 for the offenses under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. In the instant case total 50 ltrs of country made wine was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 25.11.2019. Considering the fact that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6752 of 2020(2) dt.04-02-2020 2/2 furnishing bail bond of Rs. 50,000/- (Fifty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District & Sessions Judge II cum Special Judge (Excise), Saran, in connection with Bhagwan Bazar P.S. Case No. 558 of 2019. However, in the event the petitioner is found involved in similar cases in future, the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bonds of the petitioner in the present case.
