Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is adopted son of the deceased employee, who died in harness on 02.10.2009. He further submits that for consideration of the case of the petitioner for compassionate appointment representation has been filed before the Vice-chancellor, Veer Kunwar Singh University, Ara, but till date there is no decision on the representation of the petitioner for compassionate appointment. In view of the above, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to take final decision on the claim of the petitioner within a maximum period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. The

Patna High Court CWJC No.17515 of 2017 (2) dt.05-02-2018 2/2 petitioner is at liberty to place all the relevant documents to substantiate his claim for compassionate appointment, being the adopted son of the employee, who died in harness. With the aforesaid, the writ application stands disposed of.
