2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 25(1-B)(a) of the Arms Act.
3. As per prosecution case, one country made rifle without license was recovered from the house of this petitioner.
4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has committed no offence. No incriminating article has been recovered from conscious possession of this petitioner and he has falsely been implicated in this case.
5. On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.8263 of 2025(2) dt.18-03-2025 2/2 and unlicensed country made rifle has been recovered from house of this petitioner. Petitioner has also got one criminal antecedent.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, nature of accusation and criminal antecedent of the petitioner, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected.
