JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 03-12-2018 Admittedly the case of the petitioner for grant of Public Distribution System license on compassionate ground is pending adjudication before the respondent no. 2 i.e. the SubDivisional Officer, Gopalganj and the same, as per the respondents, was not being considered since there was a stay with regard to grant of new P.D.S. license.

However, it is now submitted at bar that new Statute i.e. the Bihar Targeted P.D.S. Control Order, 2016 has come into force, hence the case of the petitioner is required to be considered by the respondent no. 2.

Accordingly, the respondent no. 2 i.e. the SubDivisional Officer, Gopalganj is directed to consider the case of the petitioner within a period of 12 weeks from today and pass final order.
