JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 10-05-2023 The learned counsel for the respondentState has filed a counter affidavit, duly sworn by the District Magistrate, Gaya, which is taken on record, wherein, the final order passed by the Circle Officer, Town Block, Gaya, dated 14.10.2017, has been annexed.
The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the aforesaid order dated 14.10.2017, by filing appropriate appeal, however, seeks some protection during the interregnum period. Liberty
Patna High Court CWJC No.17435 of 2017(3) dt.10-05-2023 2/2 so sought is granted.
It is needless to state that in case, appropriate appeal is filed by the petitioner within a period of two weeks from today, the appellate authority shall consider the same on merits and pass a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, forthwith and till then status quo existing as on today, qua the land/house of the petitioner in question, shall be maintained.
The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
