The petitioner claims that he has filed application in the year 2013 for grant of firearm licence under Family Heirloom Policy but no decision has been taken as yet by the Licensing Authority-cum-District Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram. Accordingly, this writ petition is being disposed of with a direction to the Licensing Authority-cum-District Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram to take a final decision in the matter in accordance with law and also in terms of Rule 25 of the Arms Rule, 2016 within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, if the same has not been done.
