The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "That this application is being filed for a direction upon the respondents to provide benefits of General Provident Fund to the petitioner taking to consideration that petitioner has been appointed prior to 01.09.2005 when contributory provident fund scheme has been initiated for government employees."

Though an amendment petition has been filed for consideration of the issue as to whether the services of the petitioner, upon regularization would fall under the new pension scheme or the old one, but the said prayer is absolutely different from the prayer made in the original writ petition. 3.

In view of the aforesaid, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to either file a fresh writ petition or approach the respondent-authorities for redressal of his subsisting grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
