In this case, the petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Nawada P.S. Case No. 861 of 2018 registered for offences under sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

As per allegation, 271 liters of liquor has been recovered from the Alto Maruti vehicle bearing no. BR21G8902. Looking to the huge quantity of liquor recovered, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner, above named, is rejected.
