Petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 327, 504/34 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code. Prosecution's case in short is that the petitioners all of a sudden reached the agricultural field of the informant and demanded Rs.1 lac as rangadari and on non-payment of the same, they damaged the crops sprawling over one acre of land. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11137 of 2020(2) dt.17-06-2020 2/2 that the petitioners have falsely been implicated in this case as the entire allegation is false and concocted. Petitioners are of the same village and they have pending land dispute with the informant. Petitioners have got no criminal antecedent. Considering the facts of the case, let all the petitioners, above named, in the event of surrender before the Court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate I, Araria in Palasi Police Station Case No. 164 of 2019, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
