Petitioner seeks bail in Raniganj P.S. Case No. 221 of 2012 registered under diverse sections of the Penal Code including Section 307IPC and 27 of the Arms Act. Counsel for the petitioner, referring to the First Information Report (Annexure-2), submits that the allegation of injecting acid like substance into the eyes of the victim has been specifically alleged against co-accused Panchanand Mandal. So far the petitioner is concerned, it is alleged that he along with other co-accused including Akhilesh Mandal caught the victim. Web copy of the common order passed in Cr. Misc. 42491 of 2014 and Cr. Misc. No. 42597 of 2014 were handed in by the Counsel for the petitioner in order to urge that
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48304 of 2014 (3) dt.04-03-2015 other co-accuseds of the present case whose bail petitions were rejected by the order impugned in the present case have since been released on bail. Relying on Annexure-6, which is an order dated 15.1.2014 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 29031 of 2013, it has been contended that co-accused Panchanand Mandal has also been released on bail. The petitioner is languishing in jail since 4.9.2014 and has no criminal antecedent. He surrendered after refusal of anticipatory bail by this Court vide order dated 19.3.2014.
Under the facts and circumstances mentioned above, the petitioner abovenamed is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of C.J.M, Araria in connection with Raniganj P.S. Case No. 221 of 2012 (corresponding to G.R. No. 2637 of 2012) subject to the following two conditions:
(i) One of the bailers shall be the own/close family members of the petitioner.
(ii) The petitioner shall appear in person on each and every date fixed in the Court below. In case of default on two consecutive occasions without any cogent/satisfactory reason, the
