The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to the respondents to pay G.P.F. dues of her late husband, who died in harness on 05.08.2001.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though authorization was issued on 18.10.2002 for payment of G.P.F. dues amounting to Rs. 1,74,302/-, but the same has still not been paid to the petitioner. It is submitted that the information sought under the

Patna High Court CWJC No.13921 of 2016 dt.19-09-2016 2/2 Right to Information Act, the reply discloses that admittedly the draft though prepared was not handed over to the petitioner and the process of verification is going on. Such reply is dated 30.03.2016. Having considered the matter, the writ petition stands disposed off with a direction to the respondents no. 5 and 6 to make payment of the G.P.F. dues of the late husband of the petitioner, after proper verification, along with up-to-date interest, within four weeks from the date of production of a copy of this order before them.
