Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the counsel appearing on behalf of the State.

Petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 222A of 2016 for the offence under section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

The petitioner is husband of the opposite party no.2. the marriage took place on 8.12.2015.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7112 of 2020(2) dt.02-03-2020 2/2 It is alleged that petitioner has tortured his wife (opposite party no.2) in connection with demand of dowry. Counsel for the petitioner on instruction submits that the petitioner is ready to keep her with full honour and dignity. Considering the aforesaid statement at the bar, the Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Dehri, Rohtas, in connection with Complaint Case No.

222A of 2016 subject to the condition as laid down under section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. On grant of bail, the petitioner under obligation to keep his wife with full honour and dignity. In the event, there is complaint as to the neglect, misbehaviour or torture by this petitioner or his family against the opposite party no.2, the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bonds of the petitioner.
