2. The present petition has been preferred for the following reliefs:
(i) for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus for a direction to the respondent-authorities to correct the name of the petitioner and other co-sharer in the Mutation Register and Revenue Register as per the Parimarjan Registered by the brother of the petitioner vide Grievance ID No. 20222801046520;
(ii) for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus for a direction to the
Patna High Court CWJC No.2135 of 2024(2) dt.16-05-2024 2/3 respondent authorities to register the Aadhar No. and Mobile No. in the Revenue Register as per the guideline of the State Government.
3. The petitioner owns a piece of land by virtue of a sale deed no. 14985 dated 06.05.2013. It is under Mauza-Digha, Khata No. 466, 464, Khesra No. 3896, 3897 in the district of Patna within the jurisdiction of the Circle Officer, Patna Sadar, Patna (the respondent no. 4).
4. The petitioner has submitted that on 30.07.2022, a petition was preferred before the office of the respondent no. 4, the Circle Officer, Sadar, Patna online for PARIMARJAN. He submits that upon searching online, it now shows processed although no such step has been taken. The said document is part of the writ petition as Annexure-P/5.
5. He further submits that till date, when the matter has been taken up, the Circle Officer, Sadar, Patna has not acted in the matter.
6. Learned State Counsel submits that if the documents on record is/are to be believed, the matter could have been taken to its logical conclusion within a time frame.
7. The documents on record clearly show the high handedness of the Circle Officer, Sadar, Patna (the respondent

If those residing in the city of Patna have to run from pillar to post for such smaller issues and finally, invoked the writ jurisdiction of the Patna High Court, the citizen residing far away from the capital city can well understood. The act of the Circle Officer, Patna Sadar, Patna is deprecated, to say the least.
8. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 4, the Circle Officer, Patna Sadar, Patna to take the matter to its logical conclusion within a period of four weeks from today, failing which the petitioner is free to file a contempt petition against him by name.
9. Learned State Counsel submits that he will be communicating the order of the Court today itself to the concerned respondent.
10. The writ petition stands disposed of.
