2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief/s:

(i) for grant of an appropriate writ for a direction to the Respondent No.2 to dispose of the representation of petitioner in accordance with rehabilitation law which was filed as per the direction dated 7.01.2016 passed by the Hon'ble High Court in C.W.J.C.no. 13844/2013, and make available to the resident of village

Patna High Court CWJC No.15533 of 2017(2) dt.05-05-2025 2/3 Manpur Ratnawali, who have been displaced from their village on account of extension of Baghmati Bandh, suitable site/land for the rehabilitation;

(ii) for grant of an appropriate writ for a direction to the respondents to pay to the residents of Manpur Ratnawali due compensation for their houses etc, which have been ruined/destroyed on account of construction of Baghmati Bandh;

(iii) for grant of an appropriate wilt for a direction to the Respondents to pay to the resident of village Manpur Ramawall Compensation for their Agricultural land, which have become none Arable on account of construction of Baghmati Dandli;

(iv) for grant of an appropriate writ for direction to the respondents to pay monetary assistance to the residents of village-Manpur-Ratnawali, which is payable under Bihar Land Acquisition Reestablishment (Punah Asthapan) and

3. If the contention of the petitioner is correct and the representation is still pending before the Department, it is high time that decision is taken.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will be taking up the matter before the appropriate authority.

5. Granting permission, the writ petition stands disposed of.

6. The respondents are duty bound to take up the matter to its logical end at the earliest.
