The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Turkaulia P.S. Case No. 746 of 2019 dated 26.10.2019 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It appears that on secret information that liquor has been stored behind the house of one Bunnilal Yadav in the sugar cane field, a raid was conducted. The petitioners are alleged to have been spotted running

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that there is no recovery from the possession of the petitioners and they have got no criminal antecedents.

Considering the aforestated facts, the petitioner are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 9th Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge (Excise Act), East Champaran in connection with Turkaulia P.S. Case No. 746 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. (Ashutosh Kumar, J) krishna/- U T
