The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Excise Case No. 201 of 2020 registered under Section 30(a) of the Excise Act.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case.

Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State opposed the prayer of the petitioner by contending that petitioner has criminal antecedent. Further he contended that on perusal of seizure list, it transpires that the alleged illicit liquor has been recovered from the house of this petitioner. Hence, this
