The petitioner seeks bail in Rajgir P.S. case No. 272/2019 registered under Section 307 and some other Sections of the Indian Penal Code and u/s 45 of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that police got information that Suresh Rajbansi was dealing in illicit liquor and on such when the police went to raid the house of Suresh Rajbanshi a mob assembled there and started raising slogans. 22 liter of liquor was recovered from the house of Suresh Rajbanshi. Nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner and others are alleged to have raised hue and cry and tried to kill the police

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10927 of 2020(2) dt.29-02-2020 2/2 personnel. Suresh Rajbanshi has already been granted bail. Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, the petitioner, above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-III-cum-Special Judge, Nalanda at Biharsharif in connection with Rajgir P.S. case No. 272/2019.
