Petitioner is holder of gun license but his gun license is confine to the district of Jehanabad.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner is contractor and his construction work is going on in extremely infested area and as such he needs extension of his gun license. With reference to Annexure-8 he submits that Superintend of Police has already recommended the District Arms Magistrate referring to previous attack on the petitioner and threat perception against the petitioner. Considering the recommendation of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.17677 of 2017(2) dt.15-05-2019 2/2 Superintendent of Police, Jehanabad dated 20.2.2011, the Court directs the District Magistrate, Jehanabad to take appropriate decision on the application filed by the petitioner for extension of his arms license if not already taken within a period of sixty days after general election.

While taking decision the District Magistrate is required to take into consideration the report of Superintendent of Police, Jehanabad.

With the aforesaid, the writ application stands disposed of.
