2. The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to refrain from encroaching upon

Patna High Court CWJC No.2502 of 2025(2) dt.20-02-2025 2/3 the petitioner's land situated in Khata No. 930, Khesra No. 1002, 1004, and 1005 in Mauza Shahpur, Circle and District Sheohar, where 20 decimal of land has been encroached by the Government and 15 and 1/2 decimal of land has been encroached by private respondents, along with a direction to the respondents to vacate the encroached land.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, for the redressal of his grievance, the petitioner has filed representations before respondent authorities as contained in Annexure P/7A, through registered post, but the Collector has not passed any order on the representation.

4. Learned counsel for the State submits that a direction may be issued to respondent No. 2, namely, the Collector-cum-District Magistrate, Sheohar, to dispose of the petitioner's representation within a fixed period.

5. In light of the submissions made by the parties, respondent No. 2, namely, the Collector-cum-District Magistrate, Sheohar, is hereby directed to pass an order on the petitioner's representation dated 16.01.2025, as contained in Annexure P/7A, within 60 days from the date of completion of appearance of the parties.

6. It is made clear that, prior to passing an order on

Patna High Court CWJC No.2502 of 2025(2) dt.20-02-2025 3/3 the pending representation of the petitioner, respondent No. 2, namely, the Collector-cum-District Magistrate, Sheohar, shall hear all the private respondents/affected parties.

7. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
