1. The short prayer made by the learned counsel for

Patna High Court CWJC No.1855 of 2023(2) dt.04-09-2023 2/2 the petitioner is to direct the Circle Officer, Karakat, DistrictRohtas, to conclude the proceedings of the pending encroachment case, bearing Encroachment Case No.11 of 202223. It is directed accordingly.

2. It is needless to state that in case the aforesaid encroachment proceedings are still pending, the Circle Officer, Karakat, District-Rohtas, shall conclude the same, by passing the final order under Section 6(1) of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956, after hearing the affected parties and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

3. The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
