Application has been filed for initiation of a contempt proceeding against the opposite parties for their alleged wilful and deliberate disobedience of the order dated 20.10.2022 passed in CWJC No. 13843 of 2021 by a Bench of this Court, whereby while allowing the writ petition a direction was given to the respondents, opposite parties herein to release the salary forthwith not later than 10 days from the receipt of the order of this Court.

3. Show cause have been filed on behalf of the State as well as the University with a categorical averments that in compliance of the order of this Court, due salary of the petitioners has already been paid to them. However, learned Advocate for the petitioners submitted that again the salary of the petitioners has been withheld for the reason unknown to law.

4. Be that as it may, considering the fact that the order of this Court has already been complied, this Court does not find any reason or occasion to continue further in the matter.

Patna High Court MJC No.295 of 2023(3) dt.31-10-2025 3/3 Accordingly, the present contempt petition stands closed.

5. However, the petitioners are at liberty to file an appropriate application or petition before the appropriate authority/court.
