1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(i) For issuance of a writ in the nature of CERTIORARI for quashing the office order issued vide memo No.

F.NO.28169/SSC-CR/2014-CC (1541) dated 25.07.2014 under seal and signature of the Deputy Director, Staff Selection Commission (CR) whereby and whereunder the candidature of the petitioner for Selection on post of constable (General Duty) has been rejected on an erroneous ground.

(ii) For issuance of a direction upon the respondent authorities to consider the case of

Patna High Court CWJC No.20156 of 2014(3) dt.21-09-2023 2/2 the petitioner for his appointment to the post of constable (General Duty) in Central Armed Police Forces and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles 2013 as the petitioner has been declared qualified in his physical efficiency test, Physical standard test, Written Test as well as medical examination test conducted by the respondents and he has secured much higher marks than the cut off marks and the merit list prepared and published by the respondents staff Selection Commission and the candidates who have been called for their recruitment on the post of constable (General Duty)"

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, hence the same stands disposed off as not pressed.
