2. The petitioner apprehends their arrest in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No. 684 of 2023 registered under Sections 366 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code . 3 . As per prosecution case , on 29.06.2023 at about 01:00 p.m., wife of late nephew of informant namely Sunita Devi who is mother of three children had gone to medical
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9367 of 2025(2) dt.19-02-2025 2/3 checkup, but she did not return . On search , informant came to know that co-accused Bipin Kumar abducted his nephew's wife . On 27.07.2023 at about 5:00 p.m., these petitioners along with co-accused Bipin Kumar came to the door of informant abused him and threatened him of dire consequences.
4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that from bare perusal of FIR, it is apparent that specific accusation of abduction is against co-accused Bipin Kumar. These petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case because they are father and mother of co-accused Bipin Kumar. It is further submitted that victim is major and has already been recovered. Petitioner claims clean antecedent. Similarly situated co-accused persons have already granted bail by this Court vide order dated 23.09.2024 in Cr. Misc. No. 47512 of 2024 .
5 . Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State opposed the bail application .
6. Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of eight weeks from today, on furnishing bail-bonds of Rs. 10,000 (Rupees Ten Thousand)
