JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 22-02-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "i) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing of the letter dated 08.01.2024 issued by the District Education Officer-cumChairman, District Education Project Council, Sitamarhi whereby the selection of the petitioner on the post of Block Sansadhan Sevi has been cancelled

Patna High Court CWJC No.3074 of 2024(2) dt.22-02-2024 2/3 without hearing the petitioner or without giving any opportunity and also without considering that the petitioner was selected by the committee and was working on the post of Block Sansadhan Sevi w.e.f. 31.07.2023.

(ii) For further direction to the Respondent authority to allow the petitioner to resume his post and after hearing the party the District Education Officer pass afresh order giving opportunity to the petitioner for hearing."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the aforesaid letter dated 08.01.2024, issued by the District Education Officer, Sitamarhi by filing appropriate appeal. Liberty so sought is granted.

It is needless to state that in case appropriate appeal is filed within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be heard on merits by the appellate authority and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed thereon,

Patna High Court CWJC No.3074 of 2024(2) dt.22-02-2024 3/3 within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
