It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that despite an application for grant of licence for N.P.Bore pistol having been filed on 23.4.2015 itself and further that police has also submitted verification report, the matter has been kept pending by the licensing authority.

Accordingly, this writ application is being disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate - cum - licensing authority, Patna to take a decision in the matter of the petitioner on
