The petitioner is apprehending her arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Prosecution case as lodged by the informant is that his daughter was married with Prashant Kumar in the year 2014 and due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry, she has been killed. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is mother-in-law of the deceased and there is no specific allegation against the petitioner. He submits that cause of death is snake bite and the deceased Aishwarya was treated in Sadar Hospital, Samastipur on 11.06.2017 vide Indoor

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9146 of 2020(2) dt.28-02-2020 2/2 Registration No. 877 and OPD Emergency No. 5755 (Annexure-2) and the diagnosis is snake bite. In the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the order, be released on anticipatory bail, after surrender of the husband of the deceased, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M.- V, Samastipur in connection with Muffasil Police Station Case No. 335 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
