Mr. Ajay, learned counsel for the State submits that in view of the facts stated in the writ petition, viz., the Mukhiya of the concerned Panchayat having gone traceless and a proceeding under Sections 82 and 83 of the Code of Criminal Procedure having been initiated against him, it would only be desirable if the representation of the petitioner before the Principal Secretary of the Department is disposed of expeditiously.

3. Under the aforesaid circumstance, this Court directs the Principal Secretary, Department of Panchayati Raj, Bihar, Patna to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 19th of December, 2019, referred to above, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

4. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
