The petitioner apprehends her arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is a case of dowry death.

Petitioner is mother-in-law of the deceased. Thrust of the allegation is against husband of the deceased, who is already in custody. Petitioner is separate in mess & property and has got no concern with the affairs of deceased and her husband. The allegation of torture and demand of dowry is general and omnibus.

Learned A.P.P. and learned counsel for the informant vehemently oppose the prayer for bail.

Khagaria in connection with Alauli P.S. Case No. 153 of 2022 / G.R. No. 931 of 2022, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
