2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Title Eviction Suit No. 1 of 2010 is pending for argument before the court of learned Sub Judge-1st, Naugachhia. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner has approached this Court seeking direction to the learned Sub Judge-1st, Naugachhia to dispose of Title Eviction Suit No. 1 of 2010 which has been filed by the petitioner on the ground of personal necessity. The petitioner is a senior citizen and even after passage of 15 years, the eviction suit has not been disposed of. Learned counsel further submits that considering the antiquity of the matter and personal necessity of the petitioner, the learned trial court may be directed to expedite the matter and dispose of the same within stipulated period of time.

3. Since the petitioner approached this Court with simple prayer for expeditious disposal of Title Eviction Suit No. 1 of 2010 filed on the ground of personal necessity, I do not think there is any need to issue notice to the respondents.

Disposal of the civil suit in a general public interest and when an eviction suit filed on the ground of personal necessity is kept pending for 15 years, the same would result in disenchantment of the general public in civil proceeding. Therefore, considering the antiquity of the eviction suit, the learned Sub Judge-1st, Naugachhia is directed to expedite the proceeding of Title Eviction Suit No. 1 of 2010 and try to dispose of it within a reasonable period of time and preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order since it has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the matter has been kept pending at the stage of argument for quite long time.

5. With the aforesaid direction, the instant civil miscellaneous petition stands disposed of.
