This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offence under Sections 395 of the Penal Code and 25(1-B)a and 35 of the Arms Act.
Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court on 27.02.2015 in Cr. Misc. No. 45812 of 2014.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in jail since 01.08.2014. There is direct allegation against the petitioner that he along with others committed dacoity on the point of pistol, assaulted the informant and demanded Rs.25,000/-. There is allegation of firing also and snatching the golden chain.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. The prayer for bail is rejected.
However, the trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and if the trial is not concluded within nine months, then, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
