On the last occasion, a report was called for from the Court below about the stage of the case. The report has since been received and is kept at Flag-A. The report discloses that three witnesses had been examined till 06.04.2019 and the next date in the case was 18.04.2019 for the examination of witness P.W.-4. The petitioner, who is the husband of the deceased is in custody since 13.06.2017 and has thereby spent two years in jail.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9436 of 2019(3) dt.26-06-2019 2/2 The prayer for bail, though, is rejected for the present but the Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of a copy of this order.
The petition is disposed of accordingly.
