The present modification application has been filed for modification of the order dated 11.6.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. 11463 of 2020 to the extent that time granted for surrender of the petitioner in connection with Excise Case No. 529 of 2019 be extended by further four weeks. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to lockdown, the petitioner could not surrender before the court below for furnishing bail bonds within six weeks' time granted to the petitioner and, as such, prayer has been made for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13629 of 2021(2) dt.24-03-2021 2/2 extension of time.

Having regard to the submissions made by the petitioner, the order dated 11.6.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. 11463 of 2020 is modified to the extent that time granted for surrender of the petitioner in connection with Excise Case No. 529 of 2019 is extended by further three weeks.

Accordingly, this modification application stands allowed.
