====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 07-04-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That this is a writ petition on behalf of the Petitioner for issuance of a writ of
Patna High Court CWJC No.19460 of 2016(2) dt.07-04-2023 2/2 mandamus or writs in the nature thereof or any other appropriate writs/orders/ directions for directing the respondent authorities to make an enquiry into large scale malpractice in showing incorrect number of Schedule Caste population in Nagar Panchayat Naugachia in the Census Report for the year 2011 and to make correction in the said Census Report immediately before any action is taken on such census report under Bihar Municipal Act."
After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
