The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Section 7/13(2) read with Section 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

The petitioner was apprehended on spot accepting bribe of Rs. 5,000/-. It appears that the police has already submitted chargesheet and the petitioner is in jail since 13.08.2014. The petitioner has already remained in jail for more than six months.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in Special Case No. 53/2014, arising out of Vigilance P.S. Case No. 49/14, on furnishing bail bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the
