The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted under Sections 498-A, 323, 341, 307, 326 and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is that he poured kerosene oil over the body of the victim and put her on fire. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has got no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 6.5.2015. Chargesheet has been submitted against the petitioner. There is no material to suggest regarding tampering of evidence. Petitioner is father-in-law of the victim. Injury report is Annexure-3 to the petition. From perusal of Annexure-3 it appears that injuries are simple in nature.

On behalf of the State and informant, it is submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the

No.33327 of 2015 (3) dt.05-10-2015 2 / 2 above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamui, in connection with Jamui P.S. Case no. 77 of 2014.
