The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 341, 323, 384, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the F.I.R., the allegation against petitioners is of demand of ransom of Rs. 5,00,000/- for vacating the land. It is submitted on behalf of petitioners that petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case due to land dispute. There is case and counter case. Similarly situated co-accused

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.8881 of 2022(2) dt.03-08-2022 2/2 have already been granted anticipatory bail by this Court, vide order dated 20.08.2018 in Cr.Misc. No. 47798 of 2018. Except petitioner no. 3, who is accused in one more case, all other four petitioners have no criminal antecedent.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., West Champaran at Bettiah in connection with Sathi P.S. Case No. 40 of 2018, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
