=========================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE AHSANUDDIN AMANULLAH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 25-01-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and B.N. Mandal University (hereinafter referred to as the 'University').
2. In view of the stand taken in the counter affidavit filed on behalf of respondents no. 1 to 3 and materials brought on record, the Court finds that the retiral benefits of the petitioner substantially stand paid except for G.I.C.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that due to some discrepancy in calculation, arrear of pension of about four months have not been paid.
4. Learned counsel for the University submitted that the petitioner may file a representation before the Registrar of the University with regard to any calculation error he may point out and
Patna High Court CWJC No.17416 of 2016 dt.25-01-2018 2/2 further that after calculation of the payable amount of G.I.C., the same shall be paid to him within two months.
5. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed off with liberty to the petitioner to file a detailed representation before the Registrar of the University pointing out the error in calculation of arrear of pension, if any. Further, he shall also represent with regard to payment of Leave Encashment. If such a representation is filed within three weeks from today, the Registrar shall look into the same and whatever is found admissible, the same shall be paid to the petitioner within two months thereafter.
