The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Revealganj P.S. Case No. 27 of 2012 registered under Sections 498(A) and 304(B) of the I.P.C and section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
The prayer of the petitioner, husband of the deceased, for bail was earlier rejected by this Court on 23.04.2014 vide Cr. Misc. No. 32983 of 2013 on merit. The report, as received from the Additional District and Sessions Judge, Saran at Chapra, shows that the informant, doctor and investigating officer have been examined but seven more witnesses are yet to be examined, for which non-bailable warrant has been issued through S.P. Saran
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.45612 of 2014 (3) dt.14-01-2015 2/2 at Chapra.
In view of the above facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to allow the prayer of the petitioner for bail. Accordingly, prayer of the petitioner for bail is rejected. However, the Additional District and Sessions Judge-VIII, Saran at Chapra is directed to dispose of the case of the petitioner preferably within six months. If the trail is not concluded within the aforesaid period, the petitioner shall be at liberty to renew his prayer for regular bail. (Rajendra Kumar Mishra, J.) Shail/- U
