The petitioner is in custody in connection with Marhowrah P.S. Case No. 100 of 1998 for the offences under Sections 147, 341, 323 and 324 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 10.12.2018. He further submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that he was present at spot when Gautam Shukla assaulted the informant.

Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like
