The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a), 41, 47 of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

There is recovery of 2244.60 litres of of Indian made Foreign Liquor from a truck. The petitioner is owner of the alleged seized truck.

Considering the fact that petitioner is owner of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.8494 of 2022(2) dt.29-07-2022 2/2 the seized truck from which huge quantity of Indian made Foreign Liquor was recovered, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner stands rejected.
