JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 05-02-2020 Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Excise Complaint Case No. 151 of 2019, registered for the offence(s) punishable under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

Allegation is that, there is a recovery of 46.500 liters of liquor from a Santro vehicle and petitioner was arrested from there.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has no criminal antecedent. He was only the driver and nothing to do with the seized articles. He is in custody since 26.12.2019 and ready to cooperate in the investigation. Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides, in view of the submissions, made above, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6766 of 2020(2) dt.05-02-2020 2/2 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Banka, in connection with Excise Complaint Case No. 151 of 2019, subject to the condition that he has to cooperate in the investigation.
